Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders

On September 13, Mayor Jeffrey Mims Jr. of Dayton hosted the second annual Teen Youth Summit, warmly welcoming students from various high schools across the city. The summit provided invaluable resources, inspiration, and essential skills necessary for their growth as future leaders in the community. With a distinct emphasis on a crucial aspect of students’ leadership development, the event sought to empower and prepare them for success. The Omega CDC team was present to offer assistance. Myra Tribble from Omega CDC brought scholars from Thurgood Marshall High School, Dormetria Thompson played a role in the planning committee, and Jacqueline Bogan contributed to the Adult Professional Panel!
