Let Us Help:
Institute for Success Planning Summer Workshop
07/25/2024EdRedesign’s Institute for Success Planning, housed at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, helps local leaders and their community teams make big changes in the lives of kids and teens. They do this through something called Success Planning, which is all about building strong, personal relationships.
Omega CDC has had the privilege of participating in the Institute for Success Planning Summer Workshop for the last few years. This year, Omega CDC Vice President Rachel Ward, Managing Director of Educational Programs Jasper Person, and Learn To Earn Dayton CEO Stacy Schweikhart presented at a session called “Empowering Policy Implementation: Success Planning toward Systemic Change.” They explained how working together and personalizing efforts can lead to better outcomes for kids, families, and communities.
Dayton’s Success Planning initiative aims to help children and youth in the “Hope Zone” and beyond. They use real-time data and feedback to make better decisions, allocate resources wisely, and strengthen community support systems. This approach helps create effective policies and advocacy efforts, driving positive change at local, regional, and state levels.
