Let Us Help:
Omega CDC Hope Zone 2025 Resident Leaders
01/28/2025In 2025, we are excited to announce a new structure for our workgroup meetings! Starting this year, all workgroups will meet together on the first Monday of each month at Grace United Methodist Church. This change not only streamlines our efforts but also amplifies the voices of our community members, who will play vital roles in this collaborative space.
Introducing our first 2025 cohort of Resident Leaders—a group that embodies the heart and soul of our community. As residents, they bring a profound understanding of our shared values, challenges, and aspirations. Through an interview process, these individuals were selected for their passion, dedication, and commitment to creating meaningful change.
Now, as our Co-leaders transition leadership of the workgroups to this exceptional cohort, these resident leaders are prepared to lead with purpose. They will foster collaboration, inspire action, and ensure that initiatives reflect the needs and goals of our community. Among this exceptional group, Leonard Price, Pam Wilson, Zuronia Taylor, and Ruby Harris will serve as Greeters, welcoming attendees and creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Lovone McGhee, Ruth Taylor, Lynda Rivera, Vonda Ford, Shirley Williams, Aaliyah Jennings, Ja’Niya Belcher, and Jocelyn Cooke will take on the role of Presenters, sharing critical updates and leading discussions. Julia Price will serve as Event Coordinator, ensuring the smooth planning and execution of our meetings and events, while Michelle Mullins will act as Secretary, keeping accurate records and supporting organizational efforts.
We look forward to an impactful year as we come together to strengthen and support our community!
