Soul Shop for Black Communities Training

In partnership with Montgomery County ADAMHS, we recently hosted the Soul Shop for Black Communities training, designed to empower participants with tools to discuss suicide prevention within Black communities. This important training offered our staff, partners, and community members practical insights on how to compassionately approach conversations about suicide, equipping them with strategies to support individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts. We’re grateful to have hosted such a meaningful event and look forward to more opportunities to strengthen our community’s capacity for mental health support.
