Request for Proposals

Omega Baptist Church and Omega Community Development Corporation are seeking proposals from qualified landscape design firms to implement a comprehensive landscape plan that aligns with the following four goals:

1. Implementation of the Omega Baptist Church and Omega Community DevelopmentCorporation placement of built structures, proposed and preserved landscape habitats, and stormwater management plans and designs,
2. Preservation and restoration of the Olmsted Brothers firm’s vision for the site, ensuring
   historical accuracy and awareness of the original landscape design, with room for
   contemporary, creative placemaking and remediation,
3. Planning for a public park ground on the Omega Harvard Campus through limited
   regrading, major tree replacement and planting, foregrounded by the cultural resilience
   of the site as park space, playground, and recreation site for the surrounding and
   adjacent neighborhoods, and
4. Creation of a series of community engagement events, pop-ups and workshops focused
   upon building a long-term affinity between the Omega
