Playground Ribbon Cutting

05/23/2023

We are thrilled to announce that the long-awaited playground at the Hope Center on the Omega Baptist campus is now officially open! A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked this momentous occasion held this past Sunday, where families from the community came together for an unforgettable day of celebration, music, food, and fellowship.

The event brought families and friends from all walks of life to the Hope Center. Participants were treated to music by FLOJOMO, a cookout lunch, and to beat the summer heat, our remarkable friends from Remarkable Ice served refreshing water ice that was a hit with children and adults alike.

As families explored the newly opened playground, the sound of laughter and the sight of wide smiles filled the air. The playground offers a wide range of equipment, catering to children of all ages and abilities. From swings and slides to climbing structures and interactive play stations, every corner of the playground was thoughtfully crafted to spark imagination, encourage physical activity, and promote social interaction.

Omega Baptist Church and Omega CDC know that all children deserve space to thrive, learn, and make lasting memories. The playground exemplifies this commitment by providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore, play, and develop their physical and social skills. It is a place where friendships will be forged, and countless adventures will unfold.

The playground’s grand opening is just the beginning of a new chapter of our community’s story. We envision years of laughter and fun. We hope the playground becomes a cherished destination for families, a place where children and caregivers can connect, grow, and build lasting relationships.

We extend gratitude to all the individuals, organizations, and volunteers who made this project possible. Their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment have brought us to this moment.

Hope Lives Here.
